Guylaine's Playhouse Day Care & Preschool offers a monthly Preschool curriculum.
I incorporate a Preschool Curriculum into our daily activities for fun and to prepare the older children for Kindergarten. Each month we concentrate on a different theme. I involve numbers, math, letters, themes, colors, shapes, cooking, science, games, painting, drawing, music/dance, circle time, story time, computer time, flannel board stories, finger plays, puzzles, books, puppet shows, take home projects and crafts, holiday crafts, parent gifts, etc, in my monthly curriculum. After school children also love to make these projects even though they are geared towards preschoolers. After School children will also participate in holiday crafts and parent gifts. Children learn through play and adventure. We play many different games which incorporate letter, numbers, shapes, colors and music. The children don't even realize they are learning because they are having so much fun. Singing and dancing, climbing and crawling and on the move activites are offered daily. Any new songs we learn are sent home for families to sing together. I have a monthly Newsletter that also lets families know of all the activites planned and our new theme of the month as well as any important information. We have special Color Days each month. One Tuesday & One Thursday each month the children wear the colors of the month. If they don't have that color clothes they can bring an item in instead.

Fall Into Our Pumpkin Patch.
The tree has fake leaves on it to give it the 3D affect. Each child picked which pumpkin they wanted and I added their name on it. they then showed me where on the board they wanted to be and next to which friend. The small leaves all over are stickers.

Turkey Talk.
Each child colored their turkey and then added feathers. I asked them what they wanted to eat at Thanksgiving dinner and I added that for their quote.

Reindeer Fun!
I just love this one. The reindeer are made from the childrens hands and feet. They picked what color bow they wanted and I wrote their name on it. The bulletin board has real christmas lights connecting each reindeer together. It just looks so pretty all lite up.

"Under The Sea"
We have a Monthly Bulletin Board as well. This is designed around the theme of the month. It often includes pictures of the children and crafts they helped make. This picture is our "Under the Sea"Theme. Each child colored their scuba diver, all differenet sizes for each child. Real sand and real sea shells are on the board. This one is 3-D, as most usually are.

"13 Monkey's Jumping on the Bed"
This Bulletin Board was one of my favorite. Each monkey is a child with their name on it. Each child got to choose which monkey they wanted to color and were able to place it any where they wanted on the board. The bed was 3-D with a real comforter and pillow. We incorrorated the song 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed. The children are so proud of their work and just can't wait for the parents to pick up so they can show them their work, whether it be on the bulletin board or on their Wall of Fame.

What a fun theme. I have a clown holding balloons that have each child's face on it. They got to pick their favorite balloon. The red part is a plastic table clothe that is the tent which is open and tied to the sides. (3D)

Peek~A~Boo.
This turned out better than I thought it would. There is a card for each child. They decided to either paint their hands or feet. The parents had to guess who's hand and feet were on the cards. The kids thought it was so funny when they got some wrong. Inside the card was a picture of the child.

"SHH... We're Sleeping"
Hibernation" This one was also adorable. The tree and the cave were 3-D and the animals were stuffed bears, squirrels and birds.. The snow was batting, the tree is corragated cardboard. There is a bird's nest in the tree too with pretend birds in it. The snow flakes are velcro dots, the soft side. We always talk about our theme throughout the month and the parents are always amazed what they are learning. Hibernation is a big word to learn but they all learn to say it and know what it means. We also incorporated the theme into games. They all hid, some in the ball pit and were covered with small blankets while they were "Hibernating".

Living on the Farm.
The barn doors open and shut. Inside the doors are tools needed to work on the farm. Animals are clipart. Each child appears in the windows of the barn.

You Are My Sunshine.
The beach sand is made from real beach sand. Using heavy poster board I spread glue all over it and then sprinkled beach sand on it and let it dry for 24 hrs before hanging up. The umbrella pole is a paper towel tube. The beach towel is a small piece of terry clothes. The sand castle is cut out of a plastic baby food cover. The sun is the kids hand prints.. Real sunglasses hand from the corners.. I got the idea from BoardsGalore.com. But I made it 3D.

"We Make Boo-Tiful Music"
Our theme for the month was Music and Halloween. This was also 3-D. The house was a
3-D cardboard house and the ghost were made by each child with crumbled up tissue paper. Each ghost was playing a musical instrument that each child picked out. One of my favorite boards.

"We Are On The Fast Track To Learning"
This month was about "Transportation".Each child colored their own 3-D car, truck, motorcycle or bus. At the bottom each child received a trophy with their name on it. At the end of the month they always take their crafts home. Their cars were actual push cars, after they were removed from the bulletin board, the other wheel was added and they had races afterwards.

2010 Advent Calendar
This year I made 25 small gifts. Each one is laminated wrapping paper. I cut out a square for the gift box and a small rectangle for the goft box cover. I added a fastener to the top left corner so it can open and close. I then added a mini bow and numbered the boxes. Every morning the special child of the day finds the correct number and can open the box. There is an ornament sticker in each box. The child then places the ornament on the tree.Below are some more pictures and the 6th picture is a craft we make each year. Reindeer Hands and Snowmen Feet.

"Welcome To The Jungle!" Each child chose and colored their own monkey and decided where to place themselves on the bulletin board. Some were hanging from the tree and some just wanted to hang around in the grass. Also a 3-D board, the vines were hanging off everywhere and the tree is stuffed in the middle and the leaves are also poking out about 3". The parents enjoy the boards each month as much as the children. And it's always nice to hear that the parents like the board too, makes all my hard work worthwhile.

"Silly Sally" is one of my day care kids favorite books.This month our theme is "Favorite Stories" and Silly Sally is one of their very favorite stories right now. This is one of the few bulletin boards that the children don't have their names up but they love this story so much, all they could talk about was how everyone is upside down. They had their parents look at this every day. I love it when the kids get all excited about day care and what we do here.

"What's For Lunch"
We learned about foods:Happy Foods & Sad Foods. I have a chart that went home with the parents and the kids and I disussed this list first. They made their own plates to hang on our bulletin board this month and then I placed a picture of each child on a mug next to their plate. Our baby had her plate and a bottle next to it, very cute. We talked about all the foods on their plate and talked about which ones were "Happy Foods" and which ones were "Sad Foods."
We made a great project as well, see picture below. They enjoyed making their own Banana Split. It looks so real and it's so quick and easy to make.

This is so easy. I received some banana split bowls donated from our local ice cream shop. Each ice cream flavor is a sheet of colored paper that the kids just crumpled up. The bananas are magic nuudles stuck together. The cherry is a red pom pom. The fudge is brown paint and we added foam sprinkles on top and added a plastic spoon.

"Pets"
Each child colored their own dog that they picked out. Then they placed it in the dog house where ever they wanted and at the end of the month, took their special doggy home. They also had their own favorite colored dog bone with their name on it.

"Fun In The Sun!"!!! This is also a 3-D board. Each child made sand foot prints (painted their feet with watered down glue, pressed them on paper and sprinkled with sand, then cut out flip flop) and I made them into flip flops. Real sand on board as well as real straw umbrellas I made. The pail in also 3-D, with real shells and a 3-D sand castle. And at the end of the month the children get to take their flip flops home.

"Preschool is a "Blast".
Their sparkly stars are displayed on an American Flag. This a a 3-D bulletin board. The firecracker is 3-D as well as the glittery stars. We are learning some holiday songs to go along with this bulletin board.

It's Dinosaur month! "We Are Dino-Mite!"
The children are all hatching from their eggs. I should have made the eggs larger. They are so cute. They used watercolor paints for their egg and we added a picture to place inside. The eggs open and shut so the children love to watch themselves hatch over and over again. The trees are blowing in the wind. At the end of the month the children will take their eggs home. We will have dinosaur egg hunts and search for dinosuars in the sand table. Our Dinosaur Dig! We have leaves and dinosaurs hanging from the ceiling as well. The children are learning some new words like "extinct".The little kids keep saying
"It Stinks." LOL. Too Cute!

"Space" is our theme for November. "We're out of this world!"
Yes they are. They chose or colored their astronaut suits and we then took pictures to place in them. We talked about what space is and about gravity and oxygen. Gravity is their big word this month. They know what it means and can explain it to you very well. (I'm so proud of them! ☻) When I asked Jack, in the blue astronaut suit, what he was, he answered "a big head"
oh my goodness, too cute.I reminded him that he was an astronaut and he said, "oh ya, a big head in an astronaut suit, I'm the blue one!!!!." I love these kids :) The babies are also in astronauts suits. Our rocket has landed on the moon, which is textured and all the stars are very shiny and some even glow in the dark like the stars in our nap room. Star is our shape this month.

It's Christmas Time!
The kids decorated a stocking, we hung it by the tree and we added candy canes inside. The children take their stocking home at the end of the month. As for the tree, it is made with all their hands and then I added real ornaments and glued them on. Notice the fireplace has a real Santa key hanging on it. I then also hung ornaments from the ceiling.
Making Crafts:
Small or Big, all children can have fun making crafts. Here is Alina making a Christmas ornament for her Mom & Dad. Simple as adding feathers to a fillable ornament. She had so much fun and Mom & Dad love it!
Jack is working on a glittery candle holder. Rolling a jar into glitter is super messy but loads of fun! And it makes a beautiful gift too.
And Will is workig hard making an ornament for Mom & Dad. Roll out the dough and cut out the shape, it's that easy. Then you add different colors to add the beauty.

Artic Animals was our theme. "School is Cool".
It sure is. We made this Bulletn Board by tracing the child's foot for the body and hands for the wings. They then found the letter that their name started with and placed it on the penquin. It's hard to see in the picture but the glacier is different levels so the penguins are sliding down the ice into the water below.

It's time to learn about "Our Forest Friends".
Whose foot prints do you know? Take a peek inside. Each day we talk about the footprints and see who remembers who they belong to. The children have enjoyed showing their parents each day. They are very excited and the Porcupine is their favorite.(top row, 2nd one in from the left)
They also made The Most Adorable Porcupines Ever! We should have use clay instead of the potato, so they could have kept it forever, but it was so easy to make and so adorable. The picture porcupine was also adorable and very easy to make.

"My Very Hungry Caterpillar Kids".
We are learning about Eric Carle & Dr. Seuss this month. I have made the bulletin board to match the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Each fruit is up on the board along with each childs face on the color of choice to make the caterpillar. We also made a large caterpillar out of paper plates that each child painted for our hallway entrance to day care.

Our April Theme is Under the Sea. "There's Something Fishy Going on At Preschool"
Again it is 3-D. The children picked what they wanted to make and we added it to our bulletin board. They did a great job. There is blue foil over the top of the backing and the fish are glued over the top of that.

We will learn about all different types of bugs this month. Our bullentin board is 3D once again of course.Picture below show how the bugs are sticking out. I have used large plastic bugs to glue on the board as well as bugs that are flying off being held on by a wire.

This summer bulletin board is also 3-D as most are. The flowers the children painted with their hands. The sun has all the children's names on them. The children get to bring home their flower at the end of the month.

Our Sun Flower Hallway Garden
Each child's hand make the sunflower. They then glued real sunflower seeds to a plate they painted yellow and added their picture to the center. We added a stem and planted each child in the hallway. The flowers were measured to each child's height. I loved this so much it was very difficult to take down and send home.

Our September back to school bulletin board was about the wheels on the bus. Our actual theme was "Animals that go to School" but we talked about the bus as well. The words to the song are on the board as well as the children's pictures on the bus. The wheels on this bus spin & the doors open and shut.

The children made all the animals. They are actually called Rainbow Shape Animals.
The children colored and glued the animals and the children's pictures are all in the barn windows. Again the doors open and shut. The fence is made of craft sticks and there are shiny leaves hanging from the top as well as leaves all around the room hanging from the ceiling.

"Humpty Dumpty Preschool Sat On A Wall" Our Theme this month is Mother Goose & Nursery Rhymes. Each child created their own Humpty Dumpty. This Bulletin Board is also 3D. The wall is made of styrofoam and sticks out about 1/2 inch. The sun is also 3D. It is curled up.We also painted with Humpty Dumpty Balloons after. Refer to pictures below. Each balloon had a face on it.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Welcome To Our Room.
Pom Poms for coconuts and plastic magnet letters glued on all around the board. There are also monkeys on the tree with their names on them.

This month we are learning "All About Me & Dental Care & Valentine's Day"
We will talk about the yummy treats are not healthy foods. They are ok in very small quanties on very special days only.
Our Chocolate Kisses are made out of cardboard and foil. The name tag stick out. Red is one of our colors this month.

Hop Into Our Preschool Pond. What lives in the pond. We will learn that this month. Our color is green and each child picked and colored something that lives in the pond. Some added feathers or gems to make them fancy. We added real cattails that we picked last fall. The tree is 3D as well. Brown felt for the mud at the bottom of the pond.

"Look Who's home" is about where People & Animals live. All the children in the windows. This picture has 3D tissue trees. Tops of trees are small squares of tissue paper. I used 2 different colors of green. It has 3 plastic spiders in a web. A bee hive with 2 bees hanging off board. A bird nest with pretend birds and a bird house. We have a dog in the dog house, a squirrel going into a tree hole, an owl in the other tree. The flower boxeshave a fake flowers in them as well, a 3D door knob. Our colors are yellow and brown this month.

Happy Campers. Our colors this month are Blue & Red. We have all the childrens pictures in each of their tents. Triangle is our shape. The kids picked what color they wanted. The trees are so adorable. I traced their arm and hand onto corragated cardboard. I then laminted it with sticky side up and the kids added crumpled green tissues squares to make leaves. I then added Glow in the Dark stars and a moon. The fire pit is also 3-D. Real twigs, pipe cleaners and steamers with a pile of wood next to it. Picture #2 below, you can see the tree "hand" a little bit. Picture #3, the baby's tent actually has teddy bears on it, but it is hard to see in this pic.

"Friends are Flowers in the Garden of Life". I reaaly like how this one came out. I had no idea what I wasdoing when I started. The flowers were removed from flower necklaces I had so of course 3D again. The childrens face ware on white flowers that they colored. The centers are glued down and the side are folded upward.. The then also took the flower necklaces andhung them around the round. It looks nice an summery.

Here's The Scoop~School is Cool!
Another 3-D of course. The cute little awning is real. The popsicles are also on foam with a real popsicle stick. Each Popsicle has a childs picture on it. I think it would look better on a different background though.

Summer Fun in the Sun!
I saw a clipart (1st picture below at www.mycutegraphics.com) and decided to draw it for my bulletin board. It is enlarged about 200+ %. The words are gold sparkly letters. All the flowers are fake flowers to give it the 3D look. I have recently ordered christmas lights in every color for my boards. These lights are yellow. The sun has real kids glasses that I cut off the sides. I tried to draw the pool bigger but just didnt look good. I wish it was bigger.

Community Helpers.
Our colors are Yellow & Red this month so we kept our yellow lights up for another month. We don't usually repeat colors from one month to the next but for the summer sun from August we had yellow lights.I ordered the pictures online and used clipart for the buildings. We are learning about becoming an Astronaut. The children are going to color the rocketship. This is going to be so much fun. I might take it outside and let them paint it.

We will learn how Silly and Make believe Monsters realy are. Our colors are Orange and Black this month. We have changed our lights to Orange. Our shapes are circle and triangle this month. Each child got to pick which shape they wanted. Funny thing is all the boys picked triangles and all the girls picked circles. We then traced each childs hands and feet. They decorated their Silly Monster and way they wanted. I then added the arrow sign which is glued to a bowl then stuck to the wall so that it is 3D.

Santa is watching you. You better be good. I used corragated brick card stock for the chimney. I used clip art for the clock, milk ,cookies and candle. I made the windows out of regular paper and added garland to a wreath.Gold lights outline the board because that is one of our colors this month. Then added small stockings with a mini candy cane in them. Santa I made out of felt with a beard made out of batting. I wrapped a squeaker with red satin ribbon so his nose can be squeaked. The children are having fun squeaking Santa's nose.

Welcome to our Circus. Our colors this month are red and orange. I used real popcorn and of course it is all 3D again. I cut popcorn bucket in 1/2 and added styrofoam and glued popcorn to pipe cleaners. I also have popcorn glued on board. I also used the chalk board for another bulletin board. Building Readers. We are learning about Mighty Machines/Construction. We will learn abut the equipment on this board. This one is not 3D. The children's names are on the books. Pirates/Fantasy is our theme this month. I had so much fun making this one. I made the ship with cardboard and then glued on craft stick and varnished it. I added the ports with pictures of each child and wrapped rope around each one. The background is a real map and I made flags for the ship. The treasure chest has coins and gems and some real jewelry that was broken.

Welcome Spring! Spring is finally here. This month we have Spring and Easter.I got the idea from Sarah Rettew on Pinterest. I did change it up to make it my own. We are also learning about Sports this month and our colors are black and white so I added Black & White Felt Bunnies. The flowers are made of tissue paper as well as the tree is. I hung 3 of our eggs in the tree and the rest are in the grass. Each child decorated their egg. Our light are white. Again it is 3D. The words are also cut from pink flower scrapbook paper.

This Month we are learning about Gardens.It is that time of year when we must plant our gardens. First, we must Dig a hole. I made a large , happy shovel digging. The dirt is brown tissues squares that are all crunched up. Next we must Plant the seeds. I used real Green Bean Seeds because they were large. Next we need Water for our plants to Grow. The clouds are Batting and the rain drops are blue construction paper covered in Bright blue glitter. I love how they look. Next we watch it Grow. I have flowers that at different sizes growing taller. The flowers are doubled so that I could fold the top flower to make it 3D. The Sun is made with yellow construction paper and I added gold and Orange glitter and foil confetti. It looks Awesome, so shiny. Then I added Yellow lights to make our Sun brighter.

"Put me in Summer and I'll be a Happy Snowman". This month we are talking about Summer. It's right around the corner. And since Olaf is so popular right now and he loves Summer I decided to make this bulletin board. I looked online and got some ideas. The beach is real sand that I glued on and real seashells. I added the umbrella that I made and a tree(party center piece). The grass in the corner is sticking out and the pail is 3D (of course) and a real shovel. I re-used the sun from last month. "Our School is Un"BEE"lievable"
The Bees are the children's hand prints, they made the face and added wings which is wax paper with the child's initials on them. The tree is brown construction paper and the top of the tree in green striped wrapping paper which I crumbled first then stapled on making it poofy a bit. The Bee Hive is an outdoors decoration I had hanging near my day care. It's wooden. I then added fake flowers making it all 3D as usual.

Our Theme this month is Opposites, Halloween & Fall. I have re-used an old bulletin board but changed it up a bit.

November is Space Theme Month. This 3D Bulletin Board has The Little Einsteins popping out on top. I glued the picture (clipart) onto a plastic bowl so it is raised. The children colored their astronauts that I printed from My Cute Graphics http://www.mycutegraphics.com/graphics/space-images.html Jack is a Lego Astronaut because he Absolutely loves Legos.
I added helmets (covers from toys in the gumball machine) The stars are very sparkly silver laminate paper. Black and silver are the monthly colors. I have white blinking lights so it looks like the stars are twinkling.
We also took a field trip and had our pictures taken with an Astronaut. He is located in front of a local business and we got permission to take pictures with him. He looks so real and the kids were very excited.

December is Winter Wonderland Theme. Each child is making a Snow Angel. It is outlined in cotton batting. I took a picture of them making a snow angel on the floor and then cut it out. Cotton Batting is the snow at the bottom. I got this idea on Pinterest.

Happy Feet. We are learning about Penguins, Winter & Arctic Animals. These adorable Penguins are the children's Feet. I just traced their foot and they added felt tummies, and nose and some wiggly eyes. I used infant socks and infant mittens to make the hats and then we added ribbon for a scarf. We added a letter on the tummy for their name.The background is cotton batting and the silvery ice skating rink which is actually an ice skating rink for a Christmas village. The children got to pick if they wanted their penguin to play in the snow or go ice skating. The 3D trees are hand prints on a paper tube.

Our February Theme is Pets. I actually bought this bulletin board from EBAY (Teacher Resource: Dog / Pet Pop-it Pockets Bulletin Board Set) I think it was $5.00. Great price. It is 3D. I had to fold the dog houses and then I added a child's picture (instead of the animals that came with the bulletin Board pack) Each month the children get to bring their bulletin board pics home so they really enjoyed bringing home the dog house too. We enjoyed field trip to The Parrot & Bird Emporium in Feeding Hills Mass, then went to the Petsmart in town and got a tour there and then finally went to the Puppy Place in Springfield Mass

Wild About You! We are learning about wild animals this month. This board is from Teachers pay Teachers. It was printable and cost only $4.80.This month we are going to see the animals at Cabela's in East Hartford. They do a great tour there. We are also lucking enough that the Forest Park Traveling Zoo on the Go will be in town so we see animals there as well. Each Child's name is written on a banana on this board. The children made a parrot that sits in their shoulder and they love it. I also added a picture of a Giant monkey (oriental trading)and our Momma and Baby Elephants.

This months Theme is "Disney" We will learn and talk about their favorite Disney Characters. Today we went to Subway because they had Mickey & Minnie Lunch Bags for their kid meals. I saw a bulletin board on Pinterest that gave this idea, Of course I changed it up a bit. I drew this one myself out of poster board.

Beautiful Butterflies. Our chrysalis has open and we now have Beautiful Butterflies. We added paint to a butterflies pattern then folded it in half to get our beautiful colors. We kept our background color and tree but changed our bulletin board colors from green to multi-color.

Happy Summer. Summer Time is here and we want to go to the Beach. All the children are pictured in the Sand Castle. Yellow lights for the bright sunshine. I say a picture on Pinterest from Kreativeactivities.blogspot.com that pictured the children in a castle and went with it and of course made it in my own way. It is not 3D this time.

You're One In A Minion. Since the new Minion movie came out this summer that's all the children have been talking about so I decided to make a bulletin board for it. Each child colored a minion picture, pretty easy bulletin board this month.

Horton Hatches The Egg by Dr. Seuss. This month we are learning about Dr. Seuss (and Eric Carle) This Bulletin Board is 3D. I used a real tree branch and tree bark. I placed fake leaves on the branch. Each child picked their egg and I placed their picture in each one. Horton is hatching our Preschool Children this month.

Eat A Rainbow-Healthy Eating is our theme this month. Our shape is circle so I decided to make a rainbow using circles. I added healthy foods in each circle that we will be talking about and then added 3D origami fruit. This Bulletin Board really pops out at you. The message matches the rainbow colors.

Oh McGuylaine Had A Farm! We are learning about the farm. The children all laughed when I read the title to them. It's 3D again. the shutters on the barn window stick out. The animals in the barn have feathers and a mane on the horse and felt faces with wiggle eyes. The fence also sticks out in some places. Our Theme is Christmas. I have a 3D Tree which is made of triangle (our shape this month). I also added 3D bells on top of the board and added musical notes throughout the board to go along with our song title.

I have a Rock Star Band this month. We are learning about Music. There are many different instruments to learn about. Once again we have musical notes throughout the board. This bulletin board was purchased online.

February is Dinosaur Month. We are learning about the dinosaurs and volcanos. I used orange and yellow light on the volcano so it looks like it is erupting (one of our words this month, another word is Extinct) The dinosaur is a blow up dino that had a hole in it so I used it for the BB.Its 3D because the volcano is stuffed.

We're Bugging Out About Spring. Our theme is Bugs and this month Spring begins. The word Spring is hung on a clothesline with baby clothespins. The children made the coffee filter Butterflies and I added their letter on each one so the parents know who's butterfly it is. I added plastics ants to the ant hill and sticker wall flowers. There are plastic lady bugs, cricket, flies, bees and grasshopper. I got the bug & flower letters on pintrest as well as this idea from pintrest.

April Showers bring May Flowers but our Preschoolers are growing right now. We will learn about Flowers and Gardens this month and our colors are Pink & Purple so I are using our Pink lights. Each child colored their special flower and I added photos. I have some tissue flowers as well for the 3D effect.

Under The Sea, Oceans of Fun. I have incorporated Finding Nemo since Finding Dory is coming out next month. Our the kids are in the "Yellow Submarine". We have been singing that song too. The finding Nemo is clipart from online. Shiny background paper and some 3D art as well. I added pipe cleaner corals and streamer seaweed and the large octopus.

Summer Has Begun let's put on our flip flops and flip flop into Summer. Each child painted their feet and then added pipe cleaner to make a flip flop. the sand bottom is real sand glued onto poster board(reused from previous months)This board is 3D with the umbrella and sea shells, pail, etc.

Having a Happy Summer. These palm trees are holding our hammock up and the children are sitting in the hammock enjoying summer. I used a fruit mesh bag to make the hammock. I took pictures of the children outside on a swing and then simply cute them out and added them to the hammock. Making it 3D is what I like to do. The flowers around the board are from flower necklaces.

September Is back to school and we all love all Pete the Cat. The children picked the color skateboard and I added their pictures after they posed for me. The school zone sigh is 3D because it is on a paper towel tube. I added real buttons on Pete.

Robots and Halloween is our theme for October. We decided to make Pumpkin Robots. Each child decorated their own. The infants had a bit of help, lol. I incorporated Fall as well. Each robots has the child's letter on it.

The Wizard of Oz . This was so much fun making. All the Munchkin's at Munchkin Land are my Preschoolers. I found Clipart at http://luh-happy.minus.com/. for Dorothy, etc, and the Munchkin's were copied from Oriental Trading. I added glitter to the princess, Dorothy, Tin Man and castle and fur to the lion,(my favorite) I added 3D Lollypops in Munchkin Land and yellow lights around bulletin board and on the yellow brick rd. There are cotton clouds and fake flowers along the trail.

cWe are getting ready for the end of the school and ready for Summer. So we are just "Hanging Around Until Summer" now. The words are hanging from a line with clothes pins. The children's hair is made out of yarn.
I ended up changing the board after one day because I thought it would be cuter with bare feet instead of shoes since the shoes should have been the soles of their shoes. I posted both. Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, Welcome to our Preschool Room.
The children just love Chicka Boom Boom. All the little monkeys have the children's names on them which they get to take home at the end of the month. The letters and numbers are magnet letters that I glued on.
The children just love Chicka Boom Boom. All the little monkeys have the children's names on them which they get to take home at the end of the month. The letters and numbers are magnet letters that I glued on.

I made our rocket ship with poster board and contact paper. There are 2 orange pool noodles underneath to keep its shape. All the stars glow in the dark. The children and I are in the rocket ship.

We are Under KidStruction. We will build happy readers starting here in Preschool. My kids all love reading. We will learn about different types of construction and all about the equipment.

Santa's Reindeer Barn. I saw something similar on Pinterest. All my little reindeers the children made with their hands and feet. I added a collar and pompom nose. I labeled each Reindeer stall with their names.

We are Sliding Into A New Year with our Arctic Theme this month. Our four little Penguins are sliding down the hill. I have stapled on snowflakes. I did see something similar on wordpress.com.

February is "All About Me Month and our Five Senses."
This Bulletin Board has the children foot prints on the top of the booklet. Parents have to see if they can figure out which is their child's. The second pages has the child's handprints, next is their eyes, then nose and mouth and the final page has their child's picture with their age weight, height and the date.

"Waiting For Our Wings"- As our beautiful Caterpillars build their cacoon's, they will blossom into next months theme. Each child hand prints make a caterpillar.

"Beautiful Butterflies". As our theme continues from last months caterpillars, they have turned into beautiful Butterflies. With a butterfly pattern already cut out, the children added their favorites paint colors and then we folded the butterfly in half to mix our colors. We then labeled each butterfly with each child's Letter

"Fall Into Preschool" I didn't have enough room to incorporate the title. I was also going add "5 Little Pumpkins Sitting On A Fence" and have the children make pumpkins but I will just make an additional bulletin board on the chalk board after.

I'm A Little Penguin. January is all about penguins. I wish I would have made the penguins bigger but ran out of time. We worked on our colors, numbers and shapes. We learned how to waddle like a penguin too.

Winter Wonderland!!! We learned about Polar Bears. These polar bears are 3D, They are made out of very soft fur fabric and stuffed as well. I wish the winter Wonderland was bigger, I tried making it wavy, but failed. We learned that only Mamma Polar Bears will hibernate when they are pregnant. We also talked about hibernation as well.

"Welcome To Our Nest"
We are learning about Birds this April. Each child picked and colored their Bird and told me where to place it on the board. The tree is corrugated cardboard with some fake leaves attached and the bird nest is a Real birds nest I found in the yard.

"Five Little Speckled Frogs...."
We enjoyed our Frog Month and even found some frogs and toad and in the back yard which was so exciting for the kids. We learned this song-finger play and also learned Leap Frog. I tried getting some Cattails but they had all bloomed already, very sad because we also learn and play with cattails.

"Bee Amazing" I made the Bee Hive out of small Wagon Wheel Pasta and glued it onto some cardboard then painted it yellow. And then added some dripping glue to resemble honey. I made the bees out of yellow gem glass.

Oh What Fun We all had this month. "Oh McGuylaine had a Farm" E-I-E-I-O. All the children are in the wagon going on a hay ride, LOL We learned alot abouot animals, went to the farm and decorated our room like a farm too.

Community Helpers. This is a repeat bulletin Board. Always fun to learn about our Community who can help us. We had the Fire Department come visit us with the Big Red Fire Truck and also invited the Police Department to come visit us with their cool Police Car. We learned lots this month.

Blast Off Into Space! This is a 3D bulletin Board, I just love to make them 3D, The space shuttle is the 3D part. We learned to count backwards from 5-1.Our group picture is on the shuttle. All the stars glow in the dark.

We Are Dino*Mite! We love dinosaurs!! Our Dinosaur Bulletin Board is 3D. It use to be a blow up dino that popped so I kept it for bulletin boards. It works great. I stuffed the backside and the Volcano is also 3D . That is also stuffed on the backside. I added orange lights for the volcano. It looks awesome with the light out. This is an updated repeat bulletin board.

Gingerbread House Theme. This is an updated previous bulletin board. While celebrating Christmas we also learned talked about the Gingerbread Man, and gingerbread cookies. Yummm. I used batting for the snow and snowflake lights. I also added sparkle snowflakes. The pole is 3D

Shhh... We're Sleeping. This is our Hibernation Bulletin Board. It is a repeated of course. The tree is corrugated cardboard and stuffed on backside to make it 3D. The squirrel has some real acorns that he has collected for the winter. The bear is in a 3D cave with its baby bear, and the pond has some fish and turtles and frogs with real sand and small rocks. The fox who does not hibernate for the winter in just hanging out at the bottom of the tree. Birds also do not hibernate and it is in a nest on the tree limb.

March is Forest Friends. I am so excited about this brand new Bulletin Board.
I love how it came out. I printed everything myself from Etsy and I enlarged and reduced the pictures. I made the large trees myself. We will learn about who and what lives in the forest. The trees look 3D because I only stapled on tops and bottoms so they curled and now look like they are rounded. Love it!!

I have the song over our Pond and I numbered our little frogs. I also added Butterfly lights and real Cattails. The log is cardboard. We have bugs and ducks and snakes and animals that all need the Pond to live.

Our Yellow Submarine is in our Oceans of Fun! The kids pictures are on the submarine. It is very much 3D. With colored coral and seaweed. We are joined by Nemo and all his friends.
